EPHESUS FOUNDATION GENDER EQUALITY PLAN (GEP)

Introduction

At Ephesus Foundation, we embrace the commitment and understanding of gender equality as an integral part of our core mission. Our Board of Directors, Executive Board, and volunteer teams aim to combat gender-based discrimination and promote equal opportunities, with a focus on gender equality between women and men.

 

In addition to our role in preserving cultural heritage, our foundation will continue to raise awareness of gender equality within society and strive to be a pioneer in this regard. 

 

Gender equality is a core value of Ephesus Foundation, and to strengthen this value, we have developed a strategic plan. Our plan is designed to deepen our commitments to gender equality, lead permanent changes in society, and effectively combat gender-based discrimination. 

 

As Ephesus Foundation, we will continue to assess cultural heritage on an updated and interactive platform to support gender equality. We hope that this plan will help us focus more on our efforts for gender equality and create a more comprehensive impact.

Ephesus Foundation analyzes the gender distribution among its Board of Directors, Audit Board, Executive Board, volunteers, and all stakeholders, and publishes this data on its website. 

 

Based on this data and the new data created for the Ephesus Foundation Gender Equality Plan, the gender distribution is shown in the table below:

Gender Policies and Strategies: Ephesus Foundation adopts a policy and strategy centered on gender equality. We are committed to supporting the equality of women and men to maximize the potential of all individuals in our community. Our gender equality policy is based on these fundamental values in all our projects and activities.

 

Gender Statistics and Monitoring: We regularly monitor gender-based data to assess the impact of our efforts and strive for continuous improvement. Gathering and analyzing numerical information on gender diversity among our employees, projects, and stakeholders is a critical step toward achieving our foundation’s gender equality goals.

 

Human Resources Practices: We place great importance on gender equality principles in our human resources practices. By adopting a fair and transparent approach in our recruitment processes, we support the advancement of women into leadership positions. Our human resources policies aim to prevent gender-based discrimination and provide equal opportunities.
