The Ephesus Foundation was established in 2010 with the aim of preserving the Ancient City of Ephesus, one of the most significant historical values of Turkey and a part of the world cultural heritage, and promoting the region worldwide. As the Ephesus Foundation, through the archaeological excavations we have completed in collaboration with the Austrian Archaeological Institute (ÖAW) at the Ancient City of Ephesus, we contribute to the preservation of our cultural heritage, its transmission to future generations, and thereby increasing awareness of our historical and cultural values.
Since 2010, the Efes Foundation has been working with the mission to create a fund for the preservation and development of the ancient city of Ephesus and to prepare a showcase to present the modern applications of archaeology to the world. The foundation aims to raise awareness about this important cultural heritage, support efforts in the preservation and management of our country's cultural heritage, and create value for the international archaeology platform.
